Peak kennels as its name suggests is not really a kennel. This is a website meant to showcase the dogs I am working and advertise dogs and puppies for sale.

Peak Kennels started out in Oklahoma as a small kennel that catered  mostly to in-state police departments. The name of the kennel stuck as I moved to several different states (WV, AK, OK, TX, NV, TN, AL, VA). I have been training dogs for over 10 years. Within the last few years my focus shifted from training police dogs to competing in protection sports. Although I still train dogs in detection work, my hobby is training my personal dogs for protection sports. I am located in northern Virginia training two or three dogs at a time. . I work mostly with the local working dog clubs in various sports.  I also enjoy raising and training puppies to work as police K9's, sport or personal protection dogs.
